Are you looking for a friendly and sociable sport that's easy to learn and keeps you fit? Why not try bowls here at Auriol?
Our season has started, and we shall be holding two Open Days, on Sunday 19 May and Sunday 16 June when you can come for a 'taster' session where everything - including coaching by our team of qualified coaches - will be provided totally free. Just bring or wear flat-soled shoes (eg. trainers). If neither of these dates are convenient you can also come along on any Monday at 10.45 a.m or 4.30 p.m, or at 10.45 on a Thursday morning to have a go. Experienced players also very welcome. HotShot Heroes
In our very first men's league game of the season, in a Sutton & Epsom League match against Banstead Neville, one Auriol team comprising (l-r) Lead Paul Hayes, Two Jim Whiteley, Skip Geoff Izzard and Three Derek Arlett scored a rarely-achieved HotShot eight scoring shots on one end. Congratulations to the four of you!

Bowls Tours
As can be seen in the photo below and in the Picture Gallery, a great time was had by all as Auriol club members and their guests enjoyed the 2023 bowls tour to Portugal, organised so brilliantly by Keith Gomm.
Prompted by that success, Keith's running another tour in Portugal this year, from 1st - 8th October. All places on this tour are already taken, which indicates how popular it is.
Before all that, though, and closer to home, there is a tour to Eastbourne from 8th -12th May, organised by Keith (and also fully subscribed).

Brunch Club
The Brunch Club runs on Mondays, starting at 10.00 a.m and running through to 3.00. All categories of member (Full, Social, Working) are welcome, to enjoy the hot food & drinks, as well as the games, chat, and company of others.
Defibrillator/First Aid
There is a defibrillator installed on the end wall of the tall cupboards in the clubroom, near the door to the changing room corridor. A First Aid kit is also installed at the opposite end of the cupboards, near to the entrance door, as well as in the hut by the green. There is also a phone for use in emergencies in the hut.
